The Samsung NX20 is the full-featured, flagship mirrorless camera from Samsung. It serves as a compact alternative to larger DSLRs without sacrificing image quality. With its 20.3MP APS-C sensor, images are recorded with very high resolution, allowing large printing or ample room for cropping. Like many other full-sized DSLRs, the NX20 gives you full manual control over all exposure settings, or put it in several of the different automated modes for a simple-to-use, “point and shoot” approach.
It features a 1.44M dot electronic viewfinder for traditional eye-level shooting, as well as a 3.0" AMOLED articulating LCD for waist level and overhead shooting. The NX20 utilizes the Samsung NX lens mount, which offers a range of lens options from compact pancake primes to all-in-one zooms. It’s fully compatible with Samsung’s i-Function lenses, allowing multiple control settings to be programed and adjusted by the i-Fn button / MF ring on the lens itself. For those interested in shooting video, the NX20 records full HD 1080/30p video with stereo auto via its built-in mic. Images and video are recorded to an SDHC/XC memory card (not included), allowing for high data transfer rates.
What sets this camera apart from all others is the integrated WiFi features. Not only can you send your images wirelessly from the camera to a PC computer (via Intelli-Studio software, only works with PC), but you can also send photos directly to your iOS / Android smartphone (must download app). Want to upload your images to Facebook, you can do that too, all from the camera itself. There is no specialty memory card required, or any subscription fee, just shoot and send your images.
