RF Mount Cine Zoom for Super 35 Sensors. The Angenieux EZ-2 15-40mm T2.0 S35 (RF) is a wide-angle cinema zoom lens featuring an RF mount for attaching it to a variety of RF-mount cinema cameras. The rear lens group installed on this version provides coverage for cameras with Super 35 sized sensors requiring an image circle smaller than 30mm. This lens does not have contacts to communicate with cameras.
Fast T2.0 Aperture & 2.6x Zoom Ratio. This lens features a very fast f/1.9 (T2.0) aperture for working in low light, and a 2.6x zoom ratio carries the focal range from 15mm to 40mm. Keep in mind that this lens is for Super 35 sensors, and on such cameras it’ll provide a range equivalent to roughly 22-60mm.
High-Quality Build. Using Angenieux’s unique mechanical design, the EZ-2 has exceptionally precise zoom and focus. It features calibrated focus marks, no ramping or breathing, and standard 0.8 pitch FIZ rings. Despite its sturdy build, the lens is a fairly lightweight 4.7 lbs. A 114mm front diameter ensures compatibility with industry standard accessories.
