The Anker Nebula Mars II is a very compact, portable DLP projector capable of displaying a 720p image via popular Android streaming apps or HDMI input. A four hour battery life and built-in speakers bolster its portability. Key features include:
720p projection of up to a 1080p source
Built-in 10W speakers
Android 7.1 for streaming video, music, and photos from popular apps
300 ANSI lumens & 4-hour battery life
Will You Be Projecting Against Ambient Light? If you have room light or ambient outdoor light that cannot be blocked, this projector and its conservative 300 ANSI lumens probably isn’t for you.
HD Projection That Fits In Your Bag. The Anker Nebula Mars II’s major selling point is portability. Anker squeezes self-powered, 720p DLP projection and speakers into a 4lb, 7-inch-tall box. They even attached a handle for a lantern-esque form factor that you can take with you anywhere.
Built-In Speakers. The Mars II has integrated stereo audio from dual 10W drivers to deliver full range audio wherever you decide to set up shop. Bluetooth 4.0 allows users to stream audio to other bluetooth devices like speakers or headphones when a bit of extra audio punch is required.
Android 7.1 For Media Streaming Apps. This version 2 projector adds a custom version of Android 7.1 for compatibility with a wide selection of video, music, and photo streaming apps. Simply download available apps from the preinstalled store. At the end of your rental, you can clear your passwords by going to the Settings submenu and selecting Recovery. If you forget, no need to worry, we clear all data as part of our inspection process before sending it out on a rental. Please note that some apps may require purchase or a paid subscription. An IR remote is included for app control.
Integrated Battery. What would a portable projector be without a powerful battery? Not much, so Anker designed this system with a 12500 mAh battery to project for up to 4 hours, and audio only use will last much longer at up to 30 hours.
Keystone Correction & Focus. This projector includes a one-touch autofocus for quick setup, and if you find yourself having to setup the projector at an awkward angle, vertical ±40° keystone correction can help. This projector does not have a zoom function.
Wired Inputs. The Mars II features a single HDMI input that will accept signals up to 1080p. A USB power port is also available for devices such as Chromecast that require additional power.
Mounting Options. There aren’t a lot of options for mounting the Mars II, but it does have a single 1/4"-20 threaded hole centered on the bottom of the housing. This enables it to be mounted on lightweight and medium-duty tripods and light stands. For recommended stands, check out the “Recommended” section of this page.
