26° Lens For Achieving Greater Control. This Spotlight gives your Bowens compatible lights the ability to achieve a greater degree of control with the spotlight’s precision optics. In addition to increasing the output of your original light, the high-resolution lenses produce an even beam of light, with minimal light falloff on the edges, while maintaining a shift in color temperature of less than 200 degrees Kelvin.
Minimal Edge Fringing. The Spotlight Mount’s new lens technology minimizes chromatic aberrations around the edge of the illumination circle. Compared to similar ellipsoidal fixtures, the Spotlight Mount significantly decreases its edge color fringing to a mere 1mm.
This is a Hot Item. No, really. It gets VERY hot. When the spotlight mount is attached to the Aputure LS 300d, the surface temperature can reach up to 158 °F. Please allow the spotlight mount to cool before touching it with your hands. If you attempt to use this product with Aputure LS 600 series lights, or any lights other than those in the Aputure 120d Mark II and 300d series, you will very likely burn your hands.
