The Atomos Shinobi 7" 4K HDMI/SDI Monitor is a 7-inch SDI/HDMI on-camera monitor that is capable of displaying DCI 4K, UHD 4K, and HD video inputs. Key features include:

Brighter, Larger Screen. The Atomos Shinobi 7" 4K HDMI/SDI Monitor lets you monitor 4K footage in DCI or UHD 4K at up to 29.97p and 1080p up to 60p. Note that SDI input is limited to 2K at 59.94p. It features a 10-bit FRC IPS screen with a brightness of 2200 cd/m², making it excellent for indoor and outdoor use. You can use it in daylight without needing a hood, and the screen is color calibrated for maximum accuracy.
AtomHDR Display. The traditional Rec.709 video standard is based off an 8-bit color depth and about 6.5 stops of dynamic range. The Shinobi’s display panel features a wide 10-stop dynamic range and a 10-bit signal processor, making it capable of natively displaying log footage without it looking washed out. It supports Sony, Canon, Panasonic, ARRI, RED, and JVC log formats.
Built-In HDR Signal Management. While it can be tough to monitor log and HDR signals with conventional equipment, the Shinobi’s built-in HDR signal management functions convert the log signal to the PQ standard for compatibility with consumer and professional HDR equipment.
Anamorphic De-Squeeze. The Shinobi supports anamorphic de-squeeze, which lets you comfortably view anamorphic footage with a squeeze of 2x, 1.5x, 1.22, and Panasonic 8:3.
Construction and Power. The Shinobi was designed with a focus on a real-world production environments. It has a lightweight plastic chassis and is powered by AC power or by optional dual Sony L-Series batteries, such as the Hawk-Woods DV-F990 and Hawk-Woods DV-F790. This rental does not include batteries or a charger.
