The Atomos Sumo 19-inch SE HDR Monitor/Recorder/Switcher is an upgraded monitor of the Sumo 19 series. Key features include:
Upgrade Like A Pro. The Atomos Sumo 19" SE HDR Monitor, Recorder, and Switcher maintains the same 4K recording, monitoring, and switching capabilities of its predecessor, but obtains a clearer & brighter display with an upgraded 19" 1920 × 1080 QLED touchscreen display and 1200 cd/m² brightness. Previous features include live quad-channel HD switching and recording, HDMI 2.0 and quad-SDI support genlock and LTC timecode, and recording in ProRes RAW and 10-bit 422 ProRes/DNxHR, making the Sumo 19" SE ideal for monitoring in the field by the director or client.
Constant Power. You get two 4-pin XLR inputs for power, so that the Sumo 19 SE can automatically switch power sources if one stops providing power. You can also use the separate power bracket to use hot-swappable V-Mount batteries in the field.
Versatile Use. This version of the Sumo series is essentially a jack-of-all trades, whether that’s out in the field on a DIT cart, setup as a 1st AC monitor / Director’s monitor, or in the studio for the editing workflow. Whatever your needs, there’s a good chance it will excel.
HDMI and SDI Interfaces. The Sumo 19 SE offers full-size HDMI and SDI input and output ports, so that you can easily connect and convert among any combination of HDMI 2.0 and SDI (Quad 3G/6G/12G). This monitor accepts up to 4K at up to 60 fps, or HD at up to 240 fps over HDMI or the dual SDI inputs. The user interface boasts dedicated input-selection buttons that let you quickly make A/B comparisons between sources, and you get simultaneous HDMI and SDI output for routing to other monitors, recorders, or switchers.
