The Blackmagic Design ATEM SDI Switcher is a 4-channel SDI switcher designed for live streaming and broadcasting HD video. Key features include:
4-Channel live stream 3G-SDI switcher
2-Channel digital audio mixer per source
Built in control panel
Includes upstream and downstream keyers
Simple Four-Channel Switching. The Blackmagic Design ATEM SDI Switcher is a compact, tactile solution for switching up to four SDI signals. The switcher is capable of ingesting up to 1080/60p video, and it can send a 1080/60p program feed to a computer via USB-C, up to two external monitors via the 3G-SDI outputs, and it also has an ethernet port for remote control and management.
Dual Audio Inputs. On the rear of the unit, you’ll find two 3.5mm mic inputs for mixing in auxiliary audio alongside the four SDI inputs’ audio signals. Fairlight audio enhancements include compression, gating, limiting, and a six band EQ for tweaking each input.
Upstream Keyer & Transitions. An upstream keyer allows for luma, linear, pattern, and chroma keying while a built-in suit of transitions gives you the ability to cut, mix, dip, wipe, push, spin, squeeze, and swoosh your videos from one into the other.
Downstream Keyer. The downstream keyer allows you to add logos and titles from a built-in media pool to the program output. Use of this feature will require you to connect the switcher to a computer running ATEM software v8.1 or later. PNG, TGA, BMP, GIF, JPEG, and TIFF files are all compatible with the media player.
