Up to 114mm Front Diameter. The Bright Tangerine Misfit Atom Matte Box w/ 15mm LWS Rod Clamp provides a wide field of view that’s ideal for many wide-angle lenses even with two filters mounted. It fits lenses with up to a 114mm front diameter, which means it’s compatible with Angenieux EZ-1 and EZ-2 lenses, among others. If you’re going to use this matte box with a lens that has a front diameter smaller than 114mm, you’ll need to use a step-up adapter, which is not included with this rental. Holds Up to Two Filters. The Misfit Atom holds up to two 4 × 4-inch or 4 × 5.65-inch filters in any combination without a filter tray, and the clamp at the top of the matte box secures the filters so they won’t unexpectedly fall out.
Accessories Included. The included A.R.F. bracket lets you tile the filters by six degrees to eliminate unwanted reflections and give you total control over flares, while the included 15mm LWS rod clamp lets you attach the Misfit Atom to studio rods for additional flexibility when setting up your rig. If you’re going to use a lens that doesn’t have an internal-focusing design, make sure to use the rod clamp to mount the matte box to your support rods.
