This is a Canon EOS C100 EF Camcorder with a dual-pixel autofocus CMOS upgrade and is the predecessor to the C100 Mark II. Key features include:
8.29MP Full HD Super 35 CMOS sensor
Internal 4:2:0 8-bit in full HD
Capture full HD AVCHD up to 24 Mbps with dual SD
Original C100 with Dual Pixel Autofocus upgrade
Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus. The upgrade provides a new continuous AF function for all autofocus lenses, using Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology. The new AF Lock setting lets you change the image framing while holding the desired focus. These critical focusing capabilities are designed to help reduce out-of-focus video while providing for smooth focus transitions, and to assist users working with small crews.
CMOS Sensor and DIGIC DV III Image Processor. The C100 employs the same Super 35mm Canon CMOS sensor and Canon DIGIC DV III image processor as the C300, recording full HD at 24Mbps to SDHC/SDXC cards using an AVCHD codec.
Dual Memory Card Slots. This feature allows users the advanced option of recording to two memory cards simultaneously, or recording HD footage to one slot while at the same time recording SD footage to the other.
Canon EF Mount. The C100 is compatible with all of Canon’s current EF, EF Cinema, and EF-S lenses—over 60 in all.
Convenient Design. The camera includes built in ND filters, a top mounted handle unit, which features two XLR connectors and a microphone shock mount for optimal audio capture.
