Canon EF Lens Mount. The C200 is compatible with all of Canon’s servo-zooms, EF Cinema, and EF lenses—over 100 lenses, including compact primes, super telephotos, specialty tilt-shifts, macros, and fisheyes.
Super 35mm CMOS Sensor. The Canon C200 EF’s Super 35mm CMOS sensor has a 24.4 × 13.5mm active image size. It gives you 4096 × 2160 Cine 4K images, 3840 × 2160 Ultra HD, and 1920 × 1080 Full HD. Its Dual DIGIC DV 6 processors handle this high-resolution data.
Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus. This upgraded system has phase-detection autofocus with two photodiodes at each pixel, offering greatly improved speed and accuracy. The new AF Lock setting lets you change the image framing while holding the desired focus. These critical focusing capabilities are designed to help reduce out-of-focus video while providing for smooth focus transitions, and to assist users working with small crews.
Ultra-High Resolution Electronic Viewfinder. The EOS C200’s built-in 0.46-inch, 1.23MP color EVF and 100% field of view coverage makes it easy to view footage and accurately judge its quality. You can adjust the EVF’s angle of view. You also get a removable four-inch touchscreen LCD viewfinder, a removable top handle, and a camera-control handgrip.
Robust Audio Options. The C200 includes two XLR audio inputs with +48V phantom power and a 3.5mm mic port. All of these inputs offer automatic and manual gain control. This camera records uncompressed audio in 16-bit PCM format at 48kHz.
CFast 2.0 and SD Slots. The Canon Cinema Raw Light codec lets you internally record Raw and 4K DCI data to a CFast card via the camera’s CFast 2.0 slot. The dual SD slots let you record 4K UHD and Full HD footage directly onto SD cards.
