The used Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II is a feature-rich large-sensor compact camera, and an update to the original Canon PowerShot G5 X. Key features include:
What’s Changed. The Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II builds on the G5 X, adding an updated DIGIC 8 processor for a faster continuous-shooting rate, cropped 4K/30p video, and uncropped 1080 video at up to 120p. You also get a longer-range built-in zoom lens.
20.2MP 1.0-Inch High-Sensitivity CMOS Sensor. This large, high-resolution sensor outputs great image quality with superlative low-light performance. The combination of this sensor and the DIGIC 8 Image Processor ensures fast handling, with high-speed autofocus, an up-to-20 fps continuous-shooting rate that’s not limited by a buffer, and a 30 fps RAW burst mode. In addition, this camera captures UHD 4K30p and Full HD 120p video.
Fast-Aperture Zoom. With a 24-120mm f/1.8-2.8 equivalent lens after sensor-crop factor, the G5 X II covers the wide to telephoto/portrait range with a fast aperture for shallow depth-of-field control. Additionally, the in-lens image stabilization combines with the fast aperture to ensure low light won’t keep you from shooting.
Build and Control. Truly pocketable, the G5 X Mark II features a metal build and an ergonomic front grip. The large 3.0-inch 1,040k-dot rear LCD offers 180º upward tilting and 45º downward capability for selfies and vlogging, and touchscreen functionality for intuitive settings control and menu navigation. A dedicated exposure-compensation dial allows quick adjustment even in Auto ISO, and the clicking lens control ring is customizable for each shooting mode.
Other Notable Features. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide fast connectivity to a smartphone for image transfer and review, as well as camera control with the Canon Camera Connect app. The built-in pop-up flash provides fast, simple fill. You get one SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, and this camera is powered by the NB-13L battery, which is rated at approximately 320 shots per charge.
