Output and Operation. The Canon Speedlite EL-1 is E-TTL and E-TTL II compatible. It gives you a 24-200mm zoom range, flash output of GN: 197 feet at ISO 100, and 0º to +120º tilt and 360º swivel for full bounce capability. You can adjust output from 1/1 to 1/8192 power, and there’s a built-in wide panel.
Wireless Radio Transmission. The EL-1 fully supports RT-series flashes for 2.4 GHz wireless radio control and triggering, including wireless second-curtain sync.
Controls and Power. This flash features an updated joystick design, display, and control layout for intuitive operation, and a tunable LED modeling lamp to help you pre-visualize your lighting. It’s powered by a Canon LP-EL rechargeable battery, which gives you a short, 0.9-second recycle time and approximately 335 flashes per charge.
Adaptability. The Canon AD-E1 Multi-Function Shoe Adapter lets you use this flash on Canon cameras that feature the Canon Multi-Function Shoe, such as the Canon EOS R3.
