Accessible Audio. The Deity V-MIC D3 Pro Microphone is designed to work with any camera, whether it be a DSLR, a video camera, or even a smartphone. Its lightweight body is coated in a low-reflection paint ensuring it doesn’t get in the way of a shoot, and the convenient 3.5mm cable works with just about anything, though you may need a separate adapter for your newer smartphone.
Built-In Battery. The D3 Pro comes with an internal battery rated for up to 51 hours and can be charged with the included USB-C cable. The microphone is turned on and off by the attached device, so plug-in power is required, but you won’t have to worry about manually turning the microphone off between shoots. Please note, some cameras from Blackmagic, Fuji, or Olympus may require a separate 3.5mm TRS cable in order to use this microphone. Please contact us if you’re concerned about compatibility.
Convenient Control. The D3 Pro offers adjustable gain, up to 20 dB, via the stepless analog gain knob. Gain is added linearly, so you can dial in exactly as much as you need for each specific scene. A button at the top of the microphone enables low-frequency rumble attenuation. This low-cut filter is selectable at either 75 or 150 Hz. While the D3 Pro is a directional shotgun microphone, the pickup pattern remains similar across different frequencies to reduce off-axis coloration, ensuring consistent audio quality even when audio sources are moving.
