The DJI RS 3 Pro Gimbal Stabilizer is an update to the DJI RS 2 Gimbal that’s compatible with most of its predecessor’s accessories. Key features include:
3.3 lb carbon fiber gimbal with a 10 lb payload
Designed for small to midsize cameras
Automated axis locks for quick assembly and storage
1.8" OLED screen, 1950 mAh battery, SuperSmooth stabilization
Light, Durable, Strong. Borrowing design elements from the larger Ronin 2, the DJI RS 3 Pro Gimbal Stabilizer uses layered sheets of uncut carbon fiber and Teflon-coated components for durable, easy-to-balance stabilization. Carbon fiber is lightweight, bringing the gimbal to just 3.3 lb. That’s only half a pound heavier than the smaller RS 3! Despite being so lightweight, it’s the perfect go-to gimbal for DSLR cameras and other midsize setups under 10 lb.
SuperSmooth. There’s a reason the Ronin stabilizers are so popular- they just work, delivering smooth footage in easy-to-use packages. By increasing motor torque though, the RS 3 Pro enters a “SuperSmooth” mode, enhancing stabilization even when moving quickly or with focus at 100mm. The upgraded briefcase handle offers an adjustable option perfect for low-angle shooting and additional support, reducing strain on your wrist, thereby enabling longer sessions.
Great Battery Life. The RS 3 Pro can stabilize a camera for up to 12 hours with a single charge of its removable battery grip, which has an integrated 1950 mAh LiPo battery that will charge in roughly 1.5 hours. Keep in mind that battery life will vary based on the weight and balance of the attached camera and lens.
Quick Assembly. The RS 3 Pro can automatically lock or unlock the gimbal axes, making setup and teardown a breeze. Quick release plates provide stable camera mounting and lens support installation. The 1.8-inch OLED screen is brighter, larger, and grants access to a redesigned, intuitive user interface. These accessibility features, combined with access to a variety of accessories allows users to assemble the gimbal in multiple ways, providing the freedom of choice depending on your workflow.
