Wide-Angle f/2.8 DL Mount Lens. The DJI Zenmuse X7 DL-S 16mm f/2.8 ND ASPH is wide-angle, 24mm-equivalent lens for the Zenmuse X7 camera system. DJI specifically designed their DL mount lenses for aerial photography with an “ultra-short flange focal distance” and lightweight carbon fiber housings. This reduces weight and improves gimbal and aircraft stability.
Built-In ND & Consistent Filter Thread Sizes. DJI included a built-in ND 4 filter on this lens. That should help with achieving cinematic shutter speeds while in sunny conditions without the need for additional filters. If additional filters are something you’re interested in, you’ll be happy to know that all of DJI’s DL lenses have consistent thread sizes of 46mm.
