HDMI Streaming. The EVGA XR1 Capture Device will accept HDMI signals up to UHD 4K/60p and send a 1080/60p signal to recording and streaming computer applications. It is a device designed for video game streaming but works just as well for cameras featuring compatible video outputs.
HDMI Passthrough. The XR1 will pass through input signals to an HDMI Type-A output for monitoring the gameplay or camera you’ll be capturing on your computer. Passthrough video can be sent to a monitor in up to UHD 4K/60p or even 1080/144p with HDR compatibility.
Compatibility. This video capture device can be used with any computer featuring a USB 3.0 Type C or Type A port, and EVGA touts its OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) certification. While EVGA recommends OBS for recording and streaming, it will be compatible with most other professional streaming software that allows for third party video capture inputs.
