The Fuji X-S10 is a compact mirrorless camera with a host of photo and video features that make it great for content creation and walk-around use. Key features include:
26.1MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor
X-Processor Pro 4 engine with quad CPU
UHD and DCI 4K video capture at 30 fps
Five-axis image stabilization; fast, accurate autofocus
26.1MP X-Trans CMOS Sensor. The Fuji X-S10’s proven X-Trans 4 CMOS sensor boasts a back-illuminated design and a randomized pixel array that promotes high image quality throughout its normal ISO range of 160-12,800. In addition to facilitating exceptional low-light use, the X-Processor 4 Engine also supercharges operation speed. Image processing, startup time, shutter lag, and general navigation are all quick, and maximum continuous shooting is a brisk 30 fps.
DCI and UHD 4K Video. The X-S10 isn’t just a fantastic still camera; it also has a solid range of video capabilities. You get internal UHD 4K30p with video recording at 4:2:0 10-bit, and you can record clean, uncompressed HDMI output with 10-bit 4:2:2 color. You can also record DCI 4K24 and Full HD 1080p240. You can handle color in post by choosing from any number of Fuji’s film simulations and grain effects.
In-Body Five-Axis Image Stabilization. The X-S10’s five-axis image-stabilization system markedly reduces the effects of camera shake on your footage so that you can easily shoot in low light. You also get four-axis digital image stabilization that can help steady your video footage, especially when you’re recording hand-held.
Hybrid Autofocus System. This camera’s advanced on-sensor contrast-detection autofocus system uses 425 selectable phase-detection points to cover almost the entire sensor area, giving you solid speed and subject tracking in a wide range of lighting conditions down to -6 EV. If you’re coming from a modern-day DSLR, you’ll be happy to know the X-S10 has a dedicated joystick for intuitive AF-point selection.
Additional Features. The 3.0-inch, 1.04m-dot fully articulating rear touchscreen LCD lets you work at just about any angle, and there’s a bright 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder with 0.62x magnification and a 100 fps refresh rate. The X-S10 boasts a UHD-I compatible SD-card slot and is powered by an NP-W126S battery that gives you about 325 shots per charge. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity let you wirelessly share images to a mobile device or use a mobile device to control the camera.
