Camera Control. GoPro’s The Remote for HERO10/9/8 Black & MAX 360 can control up to 5 cameras at up to 196 feet away when connected via Wi-Fi. This includes starting and stopping recording, changing presets, adjusting camera functions, and checking camera status.

Bluetooth Low Energy Standard. The Remote operates over the Bluetooth Low Energy standard, which gives you enhanced pairing options and improved battery life. You can recharge the battery via an included USB cable.

Built-In LCD Status Display. This display mirrors the camera’s status screen for quick confirmation.

Additional Features. The Remote is mountable and wearable, and its large, tactile buttons are easy to press even with gloved hands. An included wrist strap lets you wear The Remote, or secure it to a bag, grip, handlebar, or other piece of gear. The Remote is waterproof down to 16 feet, but only for safety reasons. It doesn’t function when submerged in water.
