The Hasselblad 907X 50C Medium Format Mirrorless is a modular camera system that combines design aspects from Hasselblad’s film cameras with the imaging capabilities of their contemporary digital cameras. Key features include:
Modular design; X-system lens compatibility
50MP 43.8 × 32.0mm CMOS sensor
14-stop dynamic range and 16-bit color depth
Hasselblad Natural Color Solution
907X X-Mount Camera Body. The Hasselblad 907X 50C incorporates the extremely compact 907X camera body, which acts as the interface between the CFV II 50C digital back and Hasselblad’s range of X-system lenses. Its X-system lens mount means you can use this camera with autofocus and leaf-shutter enabled XCD lenses, giving you greater access to wide-angle lens options than the V-system when using XCD lenses.
50MP CMOS Sensor. The CFV II 50C digital back is based around a large CMOS sensor. It’s medium format, it’s 50MP, it measures 43.8 × 32.0mm, and it can capture images with up to 14 stops of dynamic range and 16-bit color depth. The sensitivity can range all the way from ISO 100 up to 25,600. The sensor uses Hasselblad’s Natural Color Solution to produce lifelike images with superlative depth, clarity, and detail, even in dark shadows and bright highlights.
Updated Touchscreen LCD. The back of the 907X 50C features a 3.2-inch 2.4m-dot rear touchscreen LCD that puts the camera’s controls and features at your fingertips. Its tilting design gives you a top-down viewing angle similar to an optical waist-level finder, its updated screen has a quick 60 fps refresh rate for smooth playback, and it supports autofocus-point drag-and-drop placement and autofocus-point size changes with pinch-and-spread finger movements.
Other Notable Features. The 907X 50C uses a PC Terminal connection for external flashes, and can flash sync down to 1/2000 of a second. Dual UHS-II SD memory card slots capture RAW, JPEG, and TIFF images. Built-in Wi-Fi allows for remote shooting using the Hasselblad Phocus Mobile 2 iOS app. Weather and dust sealing keeps you shooting in all sorts of environments, and built-in GPS helps you remember where they were. The 907X 50C is powered by a single battery, which you can charge in-camera via the USB Type-C port.
