High-Quality Construction. We stock standard consumer-grade UV filters, but for those wanting better quality, we stock Hoya thin-profile filters. These filters have water- and oil-resistant sixteen-layer nano multi-coatings on each side of their chemically hardened optical glass to protect them from the elements, and to prevent internal ghosting and reflections while providing over 99.7% light transmission.

Thin-Profile Filter Ring. These filters’ slim-profile, aluminum-alloy rings markedly reduce the probability of vignetting.

Please Note: These are rather expensive and delicate filters. If taken into harsh conditions, like blowing sand, they will scratch and pit and we will charge you for the replacement when the filter returns. We understand a small hairline scratch may occur and don’t consider that your fault, but a badly scratched filter is useless.
