Designed for IR and UV Shooting. The Kolari Vision KV-FL1 Multispectral Flash is a speedlight-style flash designed to illuminate subjects during indoor infrared and ultraviolet shoots when you’re using a full-spectrum modified camera.
*Includes IR and UV Filters. *The KV-FL1 includes a UV flash filter and an 850nm IR filter, which attach to its flash head. The UV flash cup reduces the flash to a softer purple glow, while the IR flash cup makes the flash barely visible to the human eye, even on the highest power settings.
Flash-Output, Zoom, and Light-Sensor Ranges. This flash features an 18 to 180mm zoom range and flash output of GN:190.3’ @ ISO 100/180mm. Its light sensor has a 66 to 98-foot indoor range that’s reduced to 33 to 49 feet outdoors.
Functionality. The KV-FL1 Flash has a standard hot shoe so that you can use it on- and off-camera. It includes clamp-mount focus-assist flashlights that will light your scene in the spectrum you need, letting you compose and focus your shot before the flash goes off. This flash can be adjusted from -7° to 90° tilt for bounce and will swivel in a 360° radius (180° both left and right). The unit is powered by four AA batteries (not included).
