Versatile Short Telephoto Prime. The Leica 75mm f/2 APO Summicron ASPH’s long focal length, which splits the difference between normal and telephoto, makes it ideal for photojournalism, medium-distance work, and general use. Its bright f/2 maximum aperture is great for low-light shooting and gives you substantial depth-of-field control, while its 1.6-foot minimum focusing distance lets you get in close. Using a APS-C sensor camera? You’ll have a focal length equivalent to 112.5mm.
Advanced Optical Design. The lens’s floating-element optical system features eleven elements in nine groups, including one aspherical element that cuts down on aberrations while keeping pictures very sharp and clear. A multi-layer coating minimizes the effects of flaring and ghosting.
