Premium Extension Tube. At a very basic level, the Macro-Adapter-M is essentially an extension tube for M-mount cameras and lenses. By increasing the lens to sensor distance, the minimum focus distance is shortened. This in turn enables an increase in reproduction ratio. The adapter features a helical screw system for adjusting extension length from 0.7 to 1.2 inches, depending on your needs.
Live View Only. This adapter is not rangefinder-coupled. Therefore, you’ll only be able to effectively use it with a Leica M-mount camera that has live view.
Lens Compatibility. This adapter was designed for the Leica 90mm f/4 Macro-Elmar-M. However, it does work with other M-mount lenses in the range of 50mm or longer. The maximum reproduction ratio possible is 1:2.
