Optic Unit Only. This is just the Sweet 50 Optic. We’re renting it separately to give users the flexibility to choose which lens body and optic is right for them. See Recommended on the left-hand side of this page for compatible lens bodies in various mounts.

50mm Selective Focus Optic. This normal focal range optic uses a curved field of focus to create a blurred effect around the focus spot that you select by tilting the Composer Pro’s ball-and-socket joint. You can also control the size of the “sweet spot” by adjusting aperture.

Build. The simple one-group/two-element design is housed in a hard plastic casing that’s very easy to install in an Optic Swap Lens Body.

f/2.5 Maximum Aperture. The fast f/2.5 aperture enables decent low-light performance, but contrast may leave a bit to be desired considering the entire optical formula consists of two elements. The twelve-blade internal aperture produces a circular bokeh at all stops that you can’t get out of many substantially more expensive pro lenses.
