Its twelve-blade diaphragm produces pleasing bokeh, while the bright f/1.8 aperture gives you substantial control over depth of field and lets you shoot in low light. On APS-C bodies, this lens gives you a 136mm focal length that’s also excellent for portraiture.

Multi-Purpose Lens. In addition to its portrait qualities, the Velvet 85mm also features a 9.5-inch minimum focusing distance and a 1:2 maximum magnification for close-up shooting. At smaller apertures, this lens is capable of producing sharper images.
