The used Manfrotto 492LCD Hot Shoe Ball Head Mount is an accessory mount used for attaching 1/4"-20 threaded items to a camera’s hot shoe. Key features include:
Micro Ball Head. The 492LCD features a micro ball head that allows free range of positioning. It offers -90° / +90° lateral tilt range, 360° rotation, and a large knob for tightening.
1/4"-20 Mount. Enables a wide variety of accessory items to be mounted via their 1/4"-20 threading. Ideal for monitors, audio recorders, and small lights.
Sturdy Construction. The 492LCD is made from sturdy aluminum, allowing it to remain a lightweight 5.3 oz. The mount itself supports up to 4.4 lbs. However, keep in mind this is mounting to a small hot shoe on an expensive camera, so we wouldn’t recommend pushing that limit too much.
