The Markin Q20 is the top-of-the-line ballhead option from Markins. Key features include:
High Weight Capacity. While we previously raved about the M10, we had to find a new favorite when Markins discontinued it. We selected the Markins Q20 due to its ability to hold pretty much any camera/lens combination we can attach to it. Shooting a pro body with a 600mm f/4? No problem, throw a flash on there for good measure! Markins rates the Q20 ballhead to hold up to 110 lbs. While we wouldn’t suggest quite that much payload, we don’t have any problem saying half that is reasonable.
Knob-Release Quick Shoe Included. For the most flexibility with the various Arca-Swiss type plates out there, we’ve chosen to include the knob-release quick shoe with this rental. That way, we can safely say all the RRS plates and Arca-Swiss types we carry are fully compatible.
