The Panasonic Leica 200mm f/2.8 Power OIS is a 400mm-equivalent super telephoto prime designed for the Micro 4/3 system. Key features include:
Perfect for long-distance and low-light shooting
400mm focal length (35mm equivalent)
Fast, precise, and nearly silent autofocus
Built-in optical image stabilization
Super Telephoto Prime. With a focal length equivalent to 400mm after crop factor, the Panasonic Leica 200mm f/2.8 Power OIS is perfect for shooting distant subjects. Its fast, f/2.8 maximum aperture makes it ideal for low-light shooting and gives you extensive depth-of-field control.
Fast Focusing. Wherever you are, the Panasonic 200 will focus quickly and accurately. Its 240 FPS autofocus motor is fast, precise, and nearly silent, making it great for still and video capture. A focus limiter shortens the focusing range from 9.8 ft. to infinity, and you also get a focus button and a focus memory switch.
Advanced Optics. The Leica influence shows in this lens’s optics. The 200mm’s thirteen-group/fifteen-element design includes two ultra extra-low dispersion elements to drastically reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations, keeping your image clear and sharp. Panasonic applies a Nano Surface Coating to each of the individual lens elements to reduce glare and ghosting.
POWER Optical Image Stabilization. This image-stabilization system minimizes the appearance of camera shake to help keep your hand-held images clear and sharp. This lens also supports cameras’ Dual I.S. and Dual I.S. 2.0 features for even greater stabilization.
1.4x Teleconverter Included. The included DMW-TC14 1.4x teleconverter extends this lens’s equivalent focal length to 560mm at the expense of one stop of light.
High-Quality Build. The 200mm features a splash-, dust-, and freezeproof construction that lets you work in conditions down to -14°F. A built-in two-part rotating tripod collar lets you switch between horizontal and vertical shooting positions, and the built-in hideaway lens hood helps to eliminate lens flare.
