Premium Ultra-Wide Angle Zoom. The Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 SP Di VC USD G2 for Nikon offers full-frame coverage, enabling you to capture up to a 110° angle of view. It maintains a bright maximum aperture that gives you great depth-of-field control and low-light capabilities. Using a DX-mount camera? You’ll get a focal length range equivalent to 22.45-45mm.
Advanced Optical Design. This lens’s thirteen-group/eighteen-element optical formula features three low-dispersion elements, two aspherical elements, and one XGM element, which give you sharp, high-contrast images across the image plane. Tamron has applied AX, eBAND, and Broad-Band Anti-Reflection coatings to the elements in order to combat reflection, flares, and ghosting, while the front element’s fluorine coating makes fingerprints, moisture, and debris easy to wipe clean.
VC Optical Image Stabilization. The 15-30mm f/2.8’s built-in image stabilizer compensates for up to 4.5 stops of camera shake so that you can shoot in lower light at slower shutter speeds without worry.
