The FlexTT6 is a dedicated Canon E-TTL II radio transceiver and an update to the FlexTT5. Key features include:
Combination transmitter/receiver
“Pass-through” hot-shoe mount
Works with 5D IV, 600EX-II, and others (see below)
Triggers all PocketWizard units
Wider Compatibility. While the previous generation FlexTT5 for Canon was not able to work with the most recent cameras and flashes, the FlexTT6 has the required hardware built-in to be compatible with just about any camera or flash that supports Canon E-TTL II. The FlexTT6 is compatible with the 5D Mark IV, 6D Mark II, 1D X Mark II, 80D, and T7i, along with Canon’s 600 EX II-RT and 430 EX III-RT.
Remote Multi-Unit Triggering. The FlexTT6 can trigger slave PocketWizards up to 800 feet away, even outside of the line of sight. It supports multiple slave units, which are triggered by additional FlexTT6 units set as receivers, or by standard PocketWizards (without TTL data passed through, in this case). You can use the camera, an on-camera flash, or flash-commander controls to control the flash for up to 20 TTL units.
Feature Rich. The FlexTT6 is compatible with all PocketWizard radios that operate with a 340-354 MHz frequency. You get a High-Speed Sync mode that lets you shoot at shutter speeds up to 1/8000 second, Manual Power Control for up to three zones, and PowerTracking for automatic changes.
“Pass-Through” Hot-Shoe Mount. This unit slides onto the camera’s hot shoe. It sits flat on top of the camera with only a small flip-up antenna for when you need maximum range, and has a “pass-through” hot-shoe mount on top, giving you the option of using an on-camera shoe-mounted flash in addition to off-camera flashes.
Power. The FlexTT6 uses two AA batteries (not included).
