The Profoto Air Remote Transceiver is a proprietary strobe trigger designed for strobes that support the Profoto Air System. Key features include:
Profoto Air System. This radio-frequency system is built into lights like the Profoto B1 500 AirTTL Battery Powered Monolight and Profoto B2 250 Air TTL Location Kit.
Radio Triggering. The Air Remote Transceiver uses a 2.4GHz frequency to provide reliable wireless triggering. It offers coverage at up to 1,000 feet, with maximum sync speeds of 1/250 second with a focal-plane shutter camera and 1/500 second with a leaf-shutter camera.
Full Manual Control. The Air Remote Transceiver can control an unlimited number of strobe heads over eight channels with six groups per channel. It features both flash and modeling light power adjustment from the unit itself, as well as the ability to power the strobe heads on and off.
Triggering Options. Its hot-shoe mount means it’s compatible with any camera that has a standard ISO hot shoe, or you can trigger it via PC sync if desired (not included).
Power. The Profoto Air Remote Transceiver uses two AAA batteries (not included).
