Profoto B1/D1 Compatible. This glass dome works with the Profoto B1 500 AirTTL Battery Powered Monolight, Profoto B1X 500 AirTTL 1-Light To-Go Kit, Profoto D1 Air 500/500 Twin Monolight Kit, and Profoto D2 500Ws AirTTL Monolight. It’s not compatible with the Profoto B2 or B10.

Improved Light Spread. The B1, B1X, D1, and D2 strobes are among the best options out there. However, the “integrated 77º reflector” design Profoto chose is a tad hot in the center when using a softbox. This glass dome is installed in place of the standard glass cover, producing a higher quality of light with a better spread for softbox use.
