The RED DSMC2 V-Mount Battery Module is a first-party solution for powering RED DSMC2 brains with V-Mount batteries. Key features include:

Genuine RED Battery Plate. This RED V-Mount Battery plate allows users to mount V-Mount batteries to RED Digital Cinema DSMC2 camera brains directly without cables or rail mounting.
Accessory Power. This battery plate offers both a D-tap and a 2-pin LEMO accessory power port with a combined 3.8A output. The pin-out of the AUX port is similar to the 0B 302 series LEMO connector where Pin-1 is GND and Pin-2 is DC+, making it compatible with brands like Teradek and SmallHD.
*Please note, this port is not compatible with the pin-out used by Bartech, Heden, Hocus, Letus, Redrock, Stanton, and Steadicam products. Attempting to power any of these brands from this module’s AUX port will likely fry your accessories.
Compatibility. The plate can be used with or without a DSMC2 expander, and a 6-pin LEMO DC power input makes operation without an expander easier in situations where continuous power is needed. This plate is ONLY compatible with DSMC2 brains running firmware version 6.3.102 and standard V-Mount batteries.
