Canon EF Mount. We carry Rokinon lenses in several different mounts. This is the Canon EF-mount version.
Fisheye Prime. The Rokinon 12mm T3.1 Cine DS offers full-frame coverage while providing a 180° angle of view, giving you a budget-friendly, ultra-wide angle, fisheye cine lens. Its T3.1 aperture is relatively fast for shooting in moderately low light, but you’re probably not picking an ultra-wide for low-light shooting.
Optics. Hybrid aspherical elements minimize distortion and chromatic aberrations while ensuring sharpness across the frame. The UMC coating improves light transmission, thereby reducing lens flare and ghosting.
Fully Manual. This lens provides no electronic communication with the camera. All aperture and focus adjustments must be made manually on the lens itself. The aperture selected will not be displayed on the camera, and it won’t show up in the EXIF data.
Cine Build. The stepless, 0.8 pitch gear aperture and focus rings allow you to use follow focus without the need for clunky gears. Lateral aperture and distance markings make it easy to pull aperture and focus from either side.
Cine DS. Each lens in the Cine DS series shares common focus and iris gear ring positions, enabling quick and easy lens change when using a follow focus. A multi-layer coating process offers color matching across the Cine DS line for consistent results regardless of focal length.
