The SmallHD Cine 13 UHD 4K High-Bright Monitor is a medium-sized production monitor that can ingest and display 4K video via one of four 12-SDI inputs or one HDMI 2.0 Type-A input. Key features include:
4K, large-format, off-camera monitor
100% Rec.709 color gamut coverage and 1300:1 contrast ratio
Redesigned PageOS 4 operating system
AC power only
Not So Small. More than HD. The SmallHD Cine 13 UHD 4K High-Bright Monitor is larger than the tiny monitors SmallHD was named for and now goes beyond HD to 4K with a great contrast ratio and 100% Rec.709 color gamut coverage. The large 4K’s 13-inch display makes it an ideal choice for a client monitor, director’s monitor, or as a multi-view monitor for a video switcher.
PageOS 4 Toolset. First seen on the smaller on-camera SmallHD monitors, Page Builder OS is an easy-to-use GUI that allows you to selectively apply monitoring tools such as waveforms, vectorscopes, focusing aids, and LUTs on to different pages. You can screen capture and save stills to an SD Card (with a baked-in LUT) that can be used later for reference purposes. The latest version updates the quality of log conversion and waveforms as well as refreshes the look.
Daylight-Viewable HDMI or SDI Input. The panel is daylight-viewable with a 1500 cd/m² brightness rating for easy viewing even in bright shooting conditions, and the monitor includes four 12G-SDI inputs, each with loop-through capability, as well as one HDMI input.
Other Notable Features. There is one USB Type-C and one USB Type-A port available at the rear that can power accessories with a maximum draw of 5V per port. A second Type-A output is one the front of the monitor. The Cine 13" can be powered via the included AC adapter, and the unit features a top handle to move the monitor around set, multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory mounting points, and feet to keep it upright. Need a VESA mount? We recommend the Manfrotto TetherGear VESA Monitor Mount. The 5.0.0 and 5.0.1 firmware updates now support multi-view output as well.
