Improved Power Performance. This SmallRig L-Series Battery Plate for BMPCC 4K / 6K allows you to extend Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K or 6K shooting time by allowing you to power the camera with a separately available, high capacity Sony NP-F-style (L-series) battery using the included power cables, instead of the standard Canon LP-E6 battery.
Portable DC Outputs. The compact and lightweight NP-F battery plate comes equipped with one 7.4V output to power the LP-E6 battery adapter and one 12V output to supply power directly to a BMPCC4K/6K 2-pin LEMO DC input. The plate is easily mounted to battery slides, cages, or to the camera itself using a single 1/4"-20 d-ring screw. Please note, batteries are not included with this rental.
Be In The Know. In addition to providing more power, the SmallRig battery adapter plate includes built-in battery connection and life indicators so you’ll know when to swap batteries, even if the camera isn’t providing an accurate read of your discharge rate. To conserve power, the battery life indicators will turn off three seconds after being activated to check charge status, and the last lamp will begin flashing at 10% to alert you about a low battery.
