Sony touts the cards as bend-proof, drop-proof to 5 meters, x-ray-proof, magnet-proof, static-proof, UV-proof, and temperature resistant. It is waterproof IPX8 and dust-proof IP6X rated which enables the card to be submerged to 5 meters of water for 72 hours. V90, UHS-II, SDHC Memory Card. The Tough Series SD cards are UHS-II capable for write speeds up to 299 MB/s. Other Features. In order to increase the rigidity of the case, the write protection switch has been removed. This UHS-II card is backward compatible with UHS-I cameras but will only provide a write speed of 90 MB/s which is often not enough for 4K capture.
