The Sony NX3 is a legacy compact camcorder. For a current generation model, we recommend the Sony HXR-NX5R XDCAM. Key features include:
Three 1/2.8” Exmor CMOS Sensors. The NX3’s three CMOS sensors allow for Full HD capture.
20x Optical Zoom. The HXR-NX3 comes equipped with a Sony G-Series lens providing a 29mm to 576mm (35mm equivalent) zoom range.
Built-in Light. This camera features a small eight-LED (5,500K color temp) light set in the front of its top handle.
Standard-Definition Workflow Support. The NX3 is one of the only current camcorders to still support capture in standard definition (720 × 480).
Wi-Fi with NFC Support. Wirelessly control the camera using your iOS or Android device.
Other Notable Features. Dual SD card slots, built-in ND filters, and two XLR inputs.
Please Note: MP4 recording only works in dual record mode, and both 1080p and 720p resolution files are written to the card simultaneously.
