The Sony UTX-P03 is a plug-on transmitter that lets users to adapt a standard XLR microphone for wireless use, and the predecessor to the Sony UTX-P40. Key features include:
Cord Cutter. Wires are never convenient, and the Sony UTX-P03 Plug-On Transmitter (UC14) lets you integrate your usually wired XLR microphone into the Sony UWP-D Two Channel Wireless Lavalier Mic Kit.
Phantom Power. If your microphone requires +48V phantom power, this plug on transmitter can provide it making a much wider selection of microphones available to you.
Mic- & Line-Level. This plug on transmitter has the added versatility of accepting both mic- and line-level signals so most any XLR device can be integrated into the Sony UDP wireless system.
AA Battery Powered. This transmitter will require two AA batteries for operation, and they will power it for up to 6 hours. Standard AA batteries will work great, but we offer a Rechargeable AA Battery 8-Pack Travel Kit that will save you a trip to the drug store.
