The capstan mounts onto the Genie II Linear using a bayonet-style mount, and it comes with a heavy-duty 9.8’ rope. The rope is spooled around the capstan and ties at either end of just about any slider on the market. Using the capstan on a steady, taut rope will provide smooth, even camera slides. The capstan is made from durable zinc and aluminum.
