Wide-Angle Macro Lens. The Venus Optics Laowa 24mm Probe Lens’s unique design gives you a larger-than-life 2:1 maximum magnification, a 1.5-foot minimum focusing distance, and a 0.8-inch working distance. As a wide-angle lens, it gives you greater depth of field than standard telephoto macros. This means you get less subject isolation and more background detail.
Virtually Distortion-Free. This lens’s rectilinear 19-group/27-element optical design keeps distortion at an absolute minimum. Fully Manual Lens. This is a fully manual lens that provides no electronic communication with the camera. You must manually make all aperture and focus adjustments on the lens itself, and lens information is not transferred through EXIF data.
