ARRI-style Quick Release. The Wooden Camera Shoulder Rig v3 Pro features an ARRI-style quick release system to quickly and easily switch between this rig and compatible tripod heads. The dovetail is easily adjusted left and right along the NATO standard rail for flexibility with different viewfinder and monitor options. The NATO standard crossbar also has safety pins on each side so your camera won’t take a spill if you forget to tighten the thumbscrew.
Telescoping Arms. This shoulder rig is updated to now have telescoping and rotation arm points that allow you to precisely adjust both the length and spacing of the grips. You can easily adjust these by loosening the thumbscrews and setting the desired placement and retightening them.
Upgraded Grips. We chose this product with the molded leather hand grip option because after testing we found that the molded shape was more comfortable after sustained use.
Multiple Mounting Solutions. The crossbar has numerous 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 threaded accessory holes for attaching various types of monitoring and support equipment on either side. This is especially helpful when switching from a tripod to shoulder mount on set when you don’t have time to attach other cheese plates or accessories to mount your monitors and viewfinders.
Quick-Release Clamp. For those who are just looking for high quality shoulder mount to attach their camera to, we also include the Wooden Dovetail Clamp. This nearly-universal clamp is essentially a reverse camera plate. It is notched for various hole pattern options and includes 2x 3/8"-16 and 2x 1/4"-20 camera mounting screws.
