Wide Angle. The wide-angle perspective is popular for landscape, nature, interior, and architectural photography. You can also use the Loxia 25mm f/2.4 lens with APS-C cameras for an approximate 38mm-equivalent focal length.

Very Close Focus. When the wide perspective is coupled with the 9.8-in. minimum focusing distance, foreground subjects become exaggerated and a broad sense of space is created in the image.

Advanced Optics. The Loxia 25mm continues Zeiss’s pedigree of cutting-edge optics. The lens features two anomalous partial-dispersion elements and one aspherical element that control distortions and aberrations while retaining sharpness and clarity at any focus distance. The enhanced Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating controls ghosting and flare for a contrasty, color-neutral image that still flaunts that famous high micro-contrast “Zeiss look.”

High-Quality Build. The all-metal barrel gives the Loxia 21mm a solid feel with a weather-resistant gasket at the lens mount to protect against the elements.

Click On. Click Off. The Loxia line offers an aperture ring featuring 1/2-stop clicks throughout the f/2.8-22 range, as well as the ability to mechanically switch to clickless operation. We send the lens out with the aperture click on by default.
