Short-telephoto/long-portrait length
Narrow depth of field and great bokeh
Smooth, fully manual focusing
Advanced optics for high-quality images
The Zeiss Milvus ZF.2 135mm f/2 for Nikon is a high-quality manual-focus lens designed for Nikon DSLRs, and an update to the popular Zeiss ZF.2 135mm f/2 APO Sonnar. Key features include:
Telephoto Prime. The 135mm focal length gives you great reach as a short-telephoto/long-portrait lens. The f/2 aperture keeps the depth of field narrow, makes for some great bokeh, and allows you to keep shooting in low light.
Advanced Optics. The Milvus ZF.2 135mm APO Sonnar continues Zeiss’s legacy of phenomenal optics. This lens features four anomalous partial-dispersion glass elements that control distortions and aberrations while retaining sharpness and clarity at any focus distance. The enhanced T* anti-reflective coating controls ghosting and flare for a color-neutral image that still flaunts that famous high micro-contrast “Zeiss look.”
High-Quality Build. The ZF.2 135mm Milvus features a weather-resistant construction with internal seals to guard against dust and moisture, while a blue sealing ring at the lens mount protects the lens-camera interface. The all-metal lens barrel has a frosted, anodized surface for increased durability.
Modern Manual Focus. This fully manual-focus lens features a 268° focus throw and rubberized focus ring for improved tactile control, while still providing electrical communication with the camera to control aperture and communicate EXIF data.
Click On. Click Off. The 135mm Milvus f/2M ZF.2 line offers an aperture ring that features 1/2-stop clicks throughout the f/2-22 range, as well as the ability to mechanically switch to clickless operation.
