No. The sensor inside the Apple Pencil communicates with an iPad via bluetooth after pairing, and only works once it has been paired. Any other touch-sensitive devices can’t be paired to the pencil, so the pencil won’t be able to work with them.

No. This version of the Apple Pencil only works with iPad Pro models released in 2018 or later, as well as the iPad Air 4th Gen (2020). iPad Pro models released prior to 2018 will only work with the original Apple Pencil.
