The Aputure amaran Light Dome Mini SE is a highly reflective dome modifier designed to provide a soft, directional quality of light. Key features include:

Dome-ing It Down. With the Aputure amaran Light Dome Mini SE, you’ll capture those desirable studio shots we all love to see come to fruition. This 8-sided reflector and modifier is lined with a removable silver material for maximum output, and with the 1.5-stop front diffuser and removable inner baffle, you have total control over softening your point-source light. Both of these included accessories allow the light to fill the softbox more evenly, giving your subject a light glow rather than a harsh spotlight.
Lightweight and Quick Setup. Coming in at literal feather weight, this unit all together is only 1.61 pounds and consists of a quick release system that allows for swift setup and breakdown. Still small enough for a single person setup, this softbox has a diameter of 22.8".
Q & A
The Light Dome SE does not utilize the same gel-holder-compatible design as the Light Dome II or Light Dome Mini II, and therefore also does not include a gel holder in its kit.
The Light Dome II is ever so slightly wider than the Light Dome SE, however, they both feature the same types of diffusion including, a 1.5 stop diffusion, 2.5 stop diffusion, and inner baffle.
