SDI RAW Activated. The Atomos Ninja V+ 8K HDMI/SDI Monitor/Recorder Pro Kit is a very capable recorder that borrows a lot of its features from the larger 7-inch Atomos recorders, but offers them in a more compact form factor. This kit includes the SDI raw license pre-installed, enabling support of RAW 8K/30p and RAW 4K/120p from compatible cameras. H.264 recording is included out of the case, for 10-bit 4:2:2 capture at bitrates up to 350 Mbps. This kit is now also compatible with FS700/FS5/FS7 RAW recording.

RAW, ProRes, & DNxHR Recording. The Atomos Ninja V+ records DCI as well as UHD 4K with frame rates up to 60p when saving in ProRes or DNxHR formats. RAW is available up to 8K/30p or 4K/120p. Recorded files will have a maximum of 10-bit 4:2:2 chroma subsampling. This recorder is also capable of recording up to 8K/30p RAW from compatible cameras like the Canon EOS R5. Upgraded I/Os + Cross-Conversion. When using the included SDI Module, the Ninja V Pro Kit is capable of lossless signal distribution with the flexibility of up to three simultaneous video outputs. The Ninja V Pro is capable of HDMI-to-SDI cross-conversion, RAW to Video output, and cropping or down-converting for broader compatibility with HD-only devices.

5-Inch, 1000 cd/m², IPS LCD Screen. This recorder has a bright, daylight-viewable LCD panel with touchscreen controls. The 1920×1080, 423 ppi resolution provides super crisp images on the 5" display, and the 10-bit bit depth renders rich, accurate colors.

AtomHDR Display. The traditional Rec.709 video standard is based on an 8-bit color depth and about 6.5 stops of dynamic range. The Ninja V’s monitor features a wide 10-stop dynamic range, making it capable of natively displaying log footage without it looking washed out. Built-in presets for Sony, Canon, Panasonic, ARRI, RED, and JVC cameras convert the typically flat-looking log-based images into vibrant HDR pictures. Please note that the preset looks will only actually affect viewing; the recorded footage remains totally unaltered.

Livestream via Atomos Connect 4K. The included Atomos Connect 4K provides HDMI to USB conversion for live streaming applications. This simple streaming device requires no drivers and allows you to run an HDMI signal to your Mac or Windows computer’s USB port for use in streaming applications such as OBS, Twitch, and YouTube Live. Connect 4K accepts up to a UHD 4K30 HDMI signal and outputs up to 1080p60.

Media & Power. This recorder takes the same Master Caddy II SSD enclosure that has been used for the last few generations of Atomos products, and this rental includes two to install your own SSDs into. Power is provided by one Hawk-Woods DV-F590 battery or an AC adapter. We include two batteries with this rental. SSD media and larger power kits are separately rentable.
