What’s Changed. Blackmagic Design’s URSA 4K v2 Digital Cinema Camera (with EF Mount) has a global shutter CMOS that is capable of capturing Ultra HD 4K footage in CinemaDNG RAW, or UHD4K and 1080p in Apple ProRes, all with twelve stops of dynamic range. With a global shutter, you no longer have to worry about those “jello”-image issues and light banding from flashes and fluorescents.

High Frame Rate. Record at up to 120 fps in 4K or 80 fps in HD.

Active Canon EF Mount. Compatible with all of Canon’s new EF Cinema lenses and servo zooms, as well as current EF lenses, including compact primes, super telephotos, specialty tilt-shift, macro, and fisheye—over 100 in all.

Designed for Modern Productions. The URSA was reverse engineered to meet the many needs of modern production workflows. It’s equal parts ENG and Digital Cinema, but with a guerrilla-indie twist.

Three-Zone Operation. A 10.1” display for monitoring video and two other 5" touch screens for leveling audio/adjusting settings make it easy for camera assistants/audio technicians to work simultaneously without bothering the cinematographer.

Tripod-Friendly Setup. When purchased new, the URSA comes with no support options. To get you started, we include a Sony VCT-14 QR tripod adapter and two 12” Wooden Camera 15mm rods. If you need shorter rods, we rent them in pairs of 3 in.6 in.9 in.

Anton Bauer Gold Mount. When you rent an URSA, it’ll come with an Anton Bauer Gold Mount battery plate pre-attached.
