The Blackmagic Design URSA Studio Viewfinder G2 is a 7" HD electronic viewfinder designed for Blackmagic Ursa cameras and an update to the Blackmagic Design URSA Studio Viewfinder. Key features include:

Studio-Style Ursa Viewfinder. The Blackmagic Design URSA Studio Viewfinder G2 is designed for Blackmagic’s compact URSA line of cameras like the Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 Camera and Ursa Mini Pro.
Bright Studio Display. The Blackmagic Design URSA Studio Viewfinder G2 features a large 7" 1920 × 1200 TFT LCD with a 2000 cd/m² brightness that makes viewing the image and critical functions easy even for off-axis viewing. The pivot mounting system allows the viewfinder to be adjusted for comfortable all day operation and the included sun hood allows the operator to focus on the action without distracting people nearby.
On-Screen Tools. Audio meters, camera status information, and tools like false color, peaking, histogram, and zebras can be overlaid on the screen at the touch of a button. Accessible knobs and customizable buttons allow you to change camera settings and assign shortcuts for seamless on-the-fly adjustments.
Built-In Tally. Users who are utilizing multiple cameras and a switcher will love the built in tally light. As the operator cuts between cameras on the ATEM switcher, tally information is sent via SDI so the light is on when the camera is “on air.” The tally light shines red for “on air,” green for “preview,” and orange for ISO recording.
V-Lock Plate Included. The included Blackmagic Design V-Lock Plate for URSA Studio Viewfinder is designed to secure the URSA Studio Viewfinder G2 directly to an URSA Mini, Mini Pro, or Broadcast camera. The V-lock design allows for quick-release operation during assembly and teardown.

No. This viewfinder is only compatible with Blackmagic Design URSA cameras like the Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 Camera and Ursa Mini Pro.
This viewfinder mounts directly to an Ursa Mini top chassis using the included v-lock plate attached to the top handle adapter. If you rent the viewfinder with a camera, we will be happy to install the v-lock plate for you.
If you prefer to use the top handle adapter, you will need to rent the Blackmagic Design Shoulder Mount Kit for Ursa Mini in addition to this viewfinder.
No. The tally numbers are customizable and therefore are not sent by default. If you would like to print your own numbers, you can do so by downloading the BMD camera updater, available as a free download on BMD’s Support site.
