Older lens turned out great!

The EF 17-40mm is a pretty old lens that has gotten pretty mixed reviews over the years. ble focal length for small group photos at events. I was skeptical it would be viable, but the rental was not that expensive, so I gave it a try. After using it for three days, I was hooked!

I could have purchased the lens I rented, but there was a significant difference between the price of that lens versus used copies available elsewhere. The used copy I bought is supposed to arrive tomorrow (four days late!) , so we shall see. Lensrentals is a great resource. Read Less
